Mayoral Forum On Climate Action
As one of the most climate-vulnerable cities in the US, Charleston can't afford to be on the sidelines of the climate crisis. That is why CCC hosted the Mayoral Forum on Climate Action, allowing all 6 candidates to dive into their climate policy, from buildings to transportation to nature preservation to environmental justice. The actions our Mayor will take in the coming years will define Charleston's approach to climate change and will set an example to the rest of the Lowcountry.
We partnered with the League of Women Voters, Charleston’s Sierra Club, CofC’s Center for Sustainable Development, Charleston Moves, the Sustainability Institute, and Root Down Building Collective
